High Beta

Hi,

I implanted 2 frozen embryos 2 weeks ago.  My first beta was 609.  Isn't this high?  Could this mean twins?

Two months ago, I did SET and beta was only 34.  I miscarried two days later.  Just wondering (hoping) high beta is something to be excited about.

What was everyone's betas?  Singleton or multiples?

    How many days past and were they blasts or embies? You can't really tell from betas. See mine below. I did have a second sac but it ended up being empty. Many of the girls with twins had lower betas than me.

    You definitely can't tell from betas.nbsp; My first one 12dp5dt was over 2,000 and I was pregnant with twins I miscarried one later.nbsp; You'll only be able to tell by the ultrasound if it's 1 or 2. Congrats on the pregnancy!

    You can't tell from betas...my first pregnancy had a beta of 2013 and was a single...this time at 13dp5dt I had a beta of 2,476...now that is high!  But I don't think it will be twins (I find out tomorrow)

    you are referring to www.betabase.info but that site has been down for months...there are some pics of the tables if you search images though

    It could mean multiples, or it could mean just a strong bean!  You won't know until the ultrasound since beta's are very individual and can be all over the place.  Mine were 190 at 11dp3dt and 362 I think at 13dp3dt and I have twins. 
    Me (37) DH (39); PCOS changed to Unexplained, changed to DOR in 2012 (finally a correct diagnosis!); 
    Started TTC 2009 with RE after 6 months.  
    Clomid + Trigger x2; 
    IUI + Femara x1,
    IUI + Follistim x2;
    IVF #1 (MDL) February 2013- BFN.
    IVF #2 (antagonist) May 2013, First BFP of my life. 
    Identical twin miracle BOYS (!!) headed our way- due date is technically 2/4/14 but c section is scheduled for 1/7!

    You can't really tell. With the triplets my first beta was 208 with my current pregnancy it was 158. The triplets could have implanted later or my singleton earlier. You can only tell from the us.

    Check my siggy for my betas, my first was over 500 and I had a feeling that both embryos stuck, and they DID! Twins due in Nov.

    My fist beta at 15dpo was 384 and at 18dpo it was 1161.  I am pregnant with one.

    My beta was only like 100 something, but not even high 100's and I am having twins and the doubling was OK, but not even super fast either. I think everyone is different. GL to you and you will have an u/s soon enought :) Although...they didn't find my twins until my 9 week u/s. Suprise :)
