Do you get along with your in-laws? Yes... My parents and my mother-in-law have also become good friends. Of course there are always issues here and there, but I have a great mother-in-law!
What is one thing on your to-do list that you are putting off? Cleaning out closets (we need to do a major purge)
Do you plan out your week? Certain things, but not everything
Do you like the school district you are in or will you try to move before LO starts school? I'm happy with the elementary school she would be going to, but not as sure about the middle school. I also might try to get her into the school I teach at through open enrollment if they have space at that time. It would make it nicer to be on the same schedule as she is.
What is one thing you've had to make peace with in your life or it will bring you down too much? That I'll never get to be a SAHM

Do you get along with your in-laws?
H's parents are divorced and I get along okay with his dad, but his mom and I had an issue last week in fact, and I'm done with her. H is too. She was horrible and rude and hateful and I'm done with her. We will do weddings of family and that is it - no family functions with her or his sisters only. We are done.
What is one thing on your to-do list that you are putting off?
I need to create and maintain a record of our receipts for this year so far for our taxes. We were both self-employed so we need to do this for taxes. I'm putting it off. I have hundreds of receipts to do. I need to do this this week so I will hopefully be caught up before I start a new job.
Do you plan out your week?
Yes, especially since I'm un-employed and actively searching for jobs right now. I really don't want to not be available for interviews, etc. so every Monday I check new job postings and apply and then I will clean tomorrow probably and do laundry each day to stay caught up and dishes as well. I hope to have coffee with my best friend on Friday and hopefully will have some interviews between now and then.
Do you like the school district you are in or will you try to move before LO starts school?
We like it - especially for the kids to start because it is a small district but I want to move before they get older to a district with more options. The people that have kids that go here love it and it's recognized, etc. but it seems like the options are small since it is such a small place. Not bad, just something to consider.
What is one thing you've had to make peace with in your life or it will bring you down too much?
Hating my MIL. I tried to make peace with her and do right but I'm a horrible evil person to her and I have given up trying. H is okay with it and hates her too. I hate that I can't let go of the hate in my heart, but I've made peace with her in my opinion so I'm doing what I can but it is a very hard and hurtful situation that I am frustrated by.
What is one thing on your to-do list that you are putting off?
Scrubbing the bathtub.
Do you plan out your week? Not at all.
Do you like the school district you are in or will you try to move before LO starts school? We will be moving closer to where we work (we both work in the same town, about 25 miles from where we live - finding a house has been impossible), but where we buy our house will depend on what school district we want to send LO to.
What is one thing you've had to make peace with in your life or it will bring you down too much?
My relationship with my dad.
What is one thing on your to-do list that you are putting off?
Talking to DH about some things and calling to make an appointment with the counselor.

Meals usually and a few other things but our weeks are usually pretty light. Weekends not so much

I do like the district we are in but we will be moving to a bigger house in a few years and I have told DH that there are only a few school districts we can move too.
What is one thing you've had to make peace with in your life or it will bring you down too much?
That I'm not going to get my "dream" job. I would LOVE to be a daycare director or own my own daycare but that just isn't going to happen. I don't have DH's support (another issue all it's own) and it doesn't pay enough. It's still a dream but it will more than likely always stay that way.
And Sapphire and Starbuck I saw that today too. I just hope he doesn't try and run for President again! Guess we will see what our options are for the next Governor.
Do you get along with your in-laws?
I honestly can't stand them, but I'm civil because it just makes life easier. I think they probably feel the same way about me. We are so very different in every way, and we simply just can't relate to each other.

Cleaning showers

Some weeks when I'm feeling very motivated, I do. During the summer, I tend to not do this as much.

I teach in the school district that I live in, and for the most part, I'm happy with LO being a student here in the future. However, there have been A LOT of changes in my district lately that even have me questioning where we are headed, so we'll just have to wait and see.
What is one thing you've had to make peace with in your life or it will bring you down too much?
The group of friends I used to have before having a baby are not my friends anymore and won't ever be again. They treat me like they have no use for me anymore since I'm "settled down" and basically abandoned me once I had the baby. I realized I'm probably better off since true friends wouldn't do that.
Do you get along with your in-laws?
Yes and No - MIL and SFIL, LOVE THEM. FIL, can't stand the man but I put up with him
What is one thing on your to-do list that you are putting off?
Calling clients and working on Quickbooks : /
Do you plan out your week?
Usually yes but sometimes the weather changes plans. I LOVE my google calendar...not sure what I'd w/o it

We will be doing a private Lutheran school so it doesn't matter what school district we are in
What is one thing you've had to make peace with in your life or it will bring you down too much?
Not being friends with my ex-BFF. We were born on the same day, look like twins and our name is 1 letter off. She attempted suicide twice and I saved her both times. She moved out of state for college and we kept in touch. DH joined the Army and we were stationed in the same state as her. Because of the Army, we did a quick, family only, small wedding before he left for Basic and then a year later we did the big thing. She was a bridesmaid in my wedding. She bought her dress. And then she didn't show up for our wedding. No phone call/text/email. That ended our relationship. I wrote her out of my life. Now she's engaged and I want to ask her "wtf?"

yeah. I feel really indebted to them in many ways
What is one thing on your to-do list that you are putting off?
I'm supposed to be making a digital catalog for the Lions Club Pin Traders group... for the last 6 months.

kinda. I have certain events I make sure get taken care of, but other than that, I like the ability to make up a few things

probably doing the nearby catholic school for elementary school, and I like the high school nearest us.

not attending Penn State. and the idea of doing one of my dream jobs. neither are going to happen.

For the most part. We have our moments but its usually all good.

Finish my wedding scrapbook. I have 5 pages left to do and just haven't gotten them done.

Not all the way but general what is going on/who is going to be home when.

I like the school district we're in. We actually moved last year and I'm glad we were able to stay within the same schools.

That not everyone is going to like me, I am who I am, and its not necessarily my fault if you don't like me.
