Snacks for daycare

What do you send as a snack for daycare for your infant?

DS is 10 months. So far, we do a variety of pureed foods, applesauce, puffs, and mum mums. Any other suggestions? He's not ready for foods that don't dissolve very easily.

Re: Snacks for daycare

  • At that age I sent different fruits (blueberries, cutup grapes, banana), cheese slices, cereal bars, yogurt, veggie burgers (they are soft and can be cut up small), sweet potato fries.

this. I would also hit up the gerber 1st foods aisles, I know they make cookies. Yogurt is another food that came to mind.

  • I have always sent fruit and cheese as a snack.  I would work with him at home to prepare him for more finger foods.  By a year he needs to be eating more solids anyway and that will mean less purees.
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!
