This just really started kicking in for me as well. I am 14 weeks tomorrow. Sitting on an exercise ball and wearing a sacro belt helped a bit but it really caught me off guard today.
My tailbone is killing me! It clicks all the time. I usually sit on a saddle stool at work all day, but it is putting way too much pressure on it. You should see me trying to get into the car!
I think it is the hormone relaxin, well, relaxing everything!
I have an appointment with me midwife in 15 mins, I will let you know if she had any tips.
I am. I was contributing it to only sleeping on one side and not being able to rotate in my sleep. It really only happens when I wake up in the morning. I'm so stiff and so very sore.
yes to back pain and yes to lots of cracks/pops! Sometimes when I wake up, my back is so stiff/sore. My midwife suggested getting a massage (which was wonderful, but not something I can afford to do super frequently). Yoga helps a lot. I'm also considering a pregnancy pillow.
Me(32) + DH(32) TTC #1 since Dec 2011
RE consult Dec 2012, diagnosed with lean PCOS (didn't see that coming!) medicated cycles 1 - 4 = BFN
Just back from the midwife. If you have has any injuries in the past, that will make your back pain a lot worse.
I have broken my tail bone in the past, which is why it is so sore!
Annnnd there is nothing we can really do except for the approved pain killers. Oh and I was told not to sit down at work. But then I will have sore feet haha.
It has only started w/i the last week. My OB did say I could take Tylenol, but then admitted that it is very unlikely that that would help at least she's honest!
December Siggy Challenge: Love Actually
Married DH: April 21 2012 // Expecting our first: Jan 20 2014
Oh gosh yes... I was laying outside on a lounger and thought I'd never be able to straighten back up again after trying to stand!! I also feel pretty stiff in the morning getting out of bed. Haven't found a good solution yet :
Find yourself a chiropractor who specializes in pregnant women. By 33 weeks last time I could barely walk and lot of people referred me to a chiropractor here who specializes in women and children. I was pretty convinced that chiropractors were quacks, but not only did she fix my hips/back problems she also helped flip DS from breech position.
I've already been this time as this little guy/girl is hurting me already.

With me, the SI joint pain set in days before I realized I was pregnant, like before the 4-week mark. It's actually gotten better the past few weeks.
General back pain, not sure. I THINK it's less than I was dealing with before pregnancy, but it's tough to remember.
