Chicco replacement covers

Do replacement covers really exist exist for Chicco strollers and car seats? Or was. did I hear a rumour? We have pink right now but will need to change if LO is a boy. I saw a random website that claims to make replacements but it's not Chicco brand and very pricey. Makes me nervous about quality and safety. Anyone have a clue??

Re: Chicco replacement covers

  • imagemj.reilly:
    Call Chicco.

You should NEVER use a cover that is not made (or specifically "endorsed" by) the carseat company, ie Chicco. It voids the warranty, has not been crash tested by the carseat company, and is not considered safe. This goes for any product that does not come with the seat or is not made by they same company.

I read the OP and screamed no in my head.

I hate the WAHMs selling these car seat covers because they are so dangerous. They are not tested with the car seats and often they are very flammable. Please don't think I am attacking you, I just hate these covers and people don't realize why they are dangerous.

  • Chicco sells replacement covers.there is one company that does manufacture replacement covers that is endorsed by he manufacturer, but I cant think of who off the top of my head. Ill find out and let you know, but in the meantime call Chicco.
  • All of what everyone said above. I got a used car Chicco KeyFit 30 from my cousin (very well taken care of) and I picked a pattern I liked online and ordered it directly from Chicco. It was less than $50.

  • Another one chiming in to call Chicco. I got a Chicco Cortina carseat on consignment but it was missing the infant insert. I couldn't find anything anywhere on the internet, but when I called Chicco I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get a real live person on the line.
