Any jersey city moms to be?

Hi! I saw this from a while ago, but I'm very newly expecting my first baby due in Feb and moving to Jersey City in two weeks! I have a few friends in the area, but definitely looking to meet more people and find out if there are any groups or classes for moms to be. Looking forward to exploring a new neighborhood. We also have a puppy, so definitely excited about any good resources for pups as well.

What part of Jersey City?  If you're near Hoboken I can give you some good recs in that area, as I just moved out of there.

I just joined the Bump -- I'm in downtown JC, expecting my second in February. I know there is a very active Moms Meet-up group that you have to pay to join that does lots of events. (I have joined because you have to commit to attending at least one event per month.) And there are a lot of kid-friendly activities, etc., around town, plus in NYC.

I currently live in Jersey City.  I moved here two year ago and still don't know anyone.  I am currently due in Feb 2014.  I am looking for a GOOD or a recommendation for an OBGYN or a Midwife in Jersey City/Hoboken area.  If anyone could recommend some on please reply to this message thank you so much!

Hi I tried applying for the mommy group in JC and I never heard back from them.  How long does it take for them to respond?

Hi Hope your move went well.  I'm Due in Feb as well and live in DTJC.  If you're interested to meet up we can try to plan a brunch over the weekend?

Hi All, 

I am so glad that I came across this post. My husband and I moved to NYC in Dec. 2012 (3 days after our wedding) and we just purchased our first condo in Jersey City (near Exchange Place). I am due in the middle of April 2014 and I would love to get to know some other expecting Mom's in the area. 

We move on Sept. 26th and don't really know anyone.... it would be so nice to have a couple of GF's that are in the same boat.

Hello~ I live in Newport area in Jersey City.

I am expecting my first in February 2014.  I am the 1st one out of my friends to get pregnant and looking for more expecting moms to do activities with.  I work actively in the NYC fine arts and film industry.  Just stopped working, but staying home all day makes me and my baby boy agitated.

I like to take city walks, hit the gym (with a certified pregnancy trainer), and stay fit during and post-pregnancy.  If you need a yoga partner let me know!
