HI ladies!

Congrats on your pregnancies!  I have a quick question and just need some hope.  My husband is heading out of town tomorrow gone till Wednesday night.  I took 2 different brands of OPKs today one is negative and one is positive.  The negative is close but not there.  Anyway it is what it is and it looks like we can have sex today and once tomorrow before he leave is the morning and that will be it.  Did any of you get pregnant by just doing it once at the start of your surge?  I am assuming I guess the worst case that my negative OPK was correct and it will probably turn tonight or tomorrow.  Any hope would be great!  When we got pregnant with my daughter we had a sex a thon and did it 2x a day while my surge was happening and that is what finally worked so I guess that is why I am not to hopeful that only once in the start of the surge will be very fruitful..

We did it really early the morning of my surge and got pregnant that cycle....so there is hope! (I honestly didn't think it was going to happen that cycle, either...)

There's hope   Remember, sperm live 3-5 days (depending on the source you use) .... so that could be enough to get the job done!

I got my BFP and we only did the bd 3 days before I ovulated my whole cycle.

Just hump it out as often as you can before he leaves.

I got pregnant in March after having sex once about 36 hours before I had a positive OPK.

There is definitely hope.  My doc said every other day.  This last cycle we tried prior to my temp going up and three days later.  The next morning my temp spiked indicating ovulation.  I proceeded to get a UTI  so we didn't try anymore this cycle and I got a positive test result two days ago.  My husband was shocked since we tried so few times this month.

If you O on Tuesday or Wednesday and have sex tonight, you still have a decent chance. With DS, we had sex 2 days before O and it was successful. Good luck!

We BD every day or every other day for several months and nothing. Then we decided to take a month of less scheduled fun and only BD once or twice around ovulation, didnt even test, and got a BFP. There's always hope.
