Intro! Pregnant with 1st!!

Hello everyone! Just found out I'm pregnant with our first! EDD 3/13/14! My husband is against telling our parents yet, and his brother is getting married in 4 weeks! Do we tell soon or wait until after the wedding? I don't want to take away their limelight but we are so excited and I want to tell my mom especially!! Need help!

Hi, welcome and congrats! As for your dilemma...my brother and his girlfriend got pregnant like 6 weeks before I got married. They told my parents, but didn't come right out and tell me until after the wedding. My mom ended up telling me anyway before the wedding, but she's another thing sometimes.

Moral of the story: maybe tell your parents, but save telling everyone else until after the wedding. best of luck with the whatever you do!

Congrats and welcome! Personally, I'd wait. My SIL waited to announce her pregnancy until after our wedding and I did appreciate it.

Awesome!! I took a 2nd test today to make sure! Still doesn't seem real. We had been TTC for 4 months. Any symptoms yet?? I'm peeing like crazy, can't do dairy and smells are bugging me a little.

Thanks for all the advice ladies! What do you think about telling the family that Sunday after the wedding sat night? His family is spread out. It would be nice to do it all together! I'll be over 8 weeks by then.
