All day nausea

I'm 11 weeks and 3 days and this nausea is about to do me in! It has been constant all day since 6 weeks. Did anyone else have this? I am taking phenergan and it takes the edge off, but sometimes the nausea is just too strong. I eat every 2 hours and have tried everything. I feel cursed!

Re: All day nausea

  • I find mine is more intermittent now but it hits hard and fast. It totally sneaks up on me and then it's BAD. I also consistently feel like crap every evening. Days are hit or miss. Eating no longer helps either. Ready for this part to be done!

  • Yes.  I feel your pain.  It's been that way for all 3 of my pregnancies.  With my last pregnancy and this one, it finally started to get better at 13 weeks.  Literally, night and day.  I still get nauseated at night and still can't eat much, but I'm not nauseated 24/7 and can actually function.  Hang in there for another couple of weeks and I hope it gets much better!

  • Week 11 was the worst for me.  Finally at about 13 weeks I started feeling SO much better.  I still have off days but for the most part I feel like a new woman.  Hang in there!

  • This is my third baby and this is the first time I've had it this bad. I throw up all day,it's horrible!! I can't wait until Monday so I can crawl to my ob
  • Y'all have no idea how comforting it is to know I'm not the only one! As I type this I am rolling around in the bed I'm so sick. I was fine earlier today and then it just hits me and knocks me down. Sometimes I feel like such a baby, but pregnancy nausea does not play around! Hope y'all feel better very soon. And I'm hoping week 13 will change for me like it did for some of you!
  • Completely agree and understand! On zofran, reglan and Pepcid with minimal relief of my symptoms. Because I can't keep fluids down I get iv fluids weekly. I'm sorry your going through the same hell but I have compete sympathy and hope for both our sake it goes away asap!

Yes! It lasted from 6 weeks until I delivered at 36 weeks with DS. For this pregnancy it started at 6 weeks and still going strong at 13 weeks. I couldn't keep anything down today. I just feel so blah!

I'm so sorry!!! I feel your pain. My husband and I had been trying for almost 3 years before I got pregnant and now that I'm this sick, I don't think I'll ever do it again! Hehe!
  • My doctor gave me zofran and it's helped, some days are better than others. Hope yours passes soon.

  • I know exactly how you feel! I started getting sick at about 6 weeks and its just now starting to ease up some. My ob diagnosed me with mild hyperemesis gravidarum. I was getting iv fluids as well. We talked about getting me a zofran pump if it didn't ease up, but luckily I'm not throwing up every day now. It's awful! I promised God I would happily go through morning sickness if I could just get pregnant and my oh my did He listen! Lol. Hope you all get to feeling better soon!
  • Yes! I have it too! I am 11 weeks as well, but I feel like it is starting to subside a little! I was trying anything with ginger in it and I felt like it helped. The feeling of being nauseous all day is a terrible one! Hopefully you just have one more week of it and then start feeling better!
  • It's been worse for me the last 3 days, and I'm 14w1d [omg time is flying!]. I've had to take Phenergan everyday. At this point with DS, I was feeling great and able to eat a buffet out of business. Quite the opposite with this one. I'm praying so hard it doesn't last until birth. This is my last one, so I'd like to feel well enough to at least enjoy it.

Definitely.  Started before the 5-week mark, even, got bad around 6-7 weeks, and I just can't wait to be done with first trimester!  I was using Zofran for a while, but now I can't deal with the side effects any more.
