Ah, tickers!!!!

No matter what I do, when I make a ticker and grab the code and add it to my signature it does not show up! I have tried both the HTML and non HTML versions. The sig says it saves but doesn't show up on my posts. I have even tried to just copy/paste the code to the end of a post and it just shoes up as text...no ticker! 

Has this happened to anyone? How do I fix this problem so I can have a cute little countdown below my posts?
