How do you deal with blaming?

DD(3.5) just started this recently, and it's driving me nuts.  Any little thing(real or perceived) means a big fat wail of "Mommyyyyyyy!  Daddy pushed my arm and I fell down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"  When what really happened was she was running around, bumped into DH, and fell down.  So, far, we've been nonchalant about it, and we correct her if it didn't really happen(No, Daddy didn't push you.  You were running and bumped into his arm), but we do check her injury if she's complaining that it hurts. 9 times out of 10, it's not really an injury, so we just do a quick kiss/hug.  It's just embarrassing if she's with other kids, and she starts with this when it really wasn't the other kid's fault.  I guess I'm wondering if we should ignore it altogether and hope she gets over it on her own?  Or keep up with the calm reaction, correcting, and then moving on.
