Hey ladies, really need some advice or reassurance right now. Yesterday we had a party for the 4th and were busy getting food ready in the kitchen. I was standing next to the silverware draw talking to a guest and my husband opened it in a rush and the cornor went right into my pelvic area near my right ovary. It wasn't THAT hard, and I didn't think anything of it at the time, but about an half hour later I started Getting cramps and they turned into shooting pains every mininte right where it hit me. It's lasted all night and the area is sore when I touch it. I'm not bleeding or anything, but def thought I wouldn't be feeling these pains still. You ladies think its just related to the muscles being sore from everything stretching etc? Btw for those of you who are on mobile, I am 12 weeks 2 days. Thanks in advance for your advice/support and hope everyone has a great holiday weekend!

Are you going to be panicking until Monday? I tend to be overly cautious so I wouldnt be able to stop worrying until I saw someone and would go in, however since you are not bleeding and it would be the ER, its kinda up to you on when you think it is serious enough.
EDIT: Can you call your OB's after hour nurse first?
Sending positive thoughts that all is well!
FWIW, I was in a car accident and my pelvic area wasjarred (with DS1). I was nervous and called my OB. My OB reassured me that baby is swimming in a pool of buffer solution and probably didn't even notice anything, and also that it would take more than a little car accident to cause placental abruption, which would be the real threat from that (I was rear-ended, so while it seemed bad to me, I was actually pretty far away from the impact). My thought is that getting the drawer to your ovary, while very painful, probably didn't hurt anything at all.
However, if you're worried due to the cramping, I would go sooner rather than later. My OB also said that if anything more serious happened, it was vital to call the hospital within the first four hours. I think you're okay, but if you're concerned I'd call now (even if it's the ER) and put your mind at rest. Sending positive thoughts!
They don't have an on call?

I was thinking the exact same thing. I have never heard of a Dr's office not having a Dr on call after hours or on holidays until I got on this board.
good luck! FX for you.
FWIW: my OB used to have an after hours on call line. However, when I went for my 1st appt with this pregnancy I was told they got rid of the on call line. So if its a night or weekend and I'm less than 17w I should go to the ER and if I'm over 17w go to L&D. They said the reason for their decision was basically an inability to triage over the phone. I wasn't thrilled with this but it is what it is. Just wanted to clarify there ARE some OBs who do not have an on call line.
OP: I think unless the pain was pretty bad or I started bleeding, I would wait it out.
Edit: just saw your update. Hope all is well! Update when you can.
