Sulcus tear..

So I had a 1st degree tear and a sulcus tear. For those with the latter how long before you saw significant healing? I'm 1 wk PP and can barely sit or walk. I am calling my mw tomorrow as I'm thinking maybe I have an infection. I don't have a fever and my FI looked and doesn't see any swelling, puss,etc. I didn't feel all this pain until a few days ago since I had 3
Major hemorrhoids and they were sooooo painful, probably was a mix of two. but now they've gone down and I'm so uncomfortable.

Thank you. I got into the dr. He said my tears are healing nicely. But from what I'm saying I may have a bladder infection. So he put me an antibiotic. They are having my urine tested just in case. He also gave me Percocet for the pain since two other meds aren't working. And demanded I stay rested. Not that I've gone a lot of place but I've had guests over almost everyday. So i just gotta force myself to do so.

Sorry that you has two sulcus tears. I couldn't imagine.

I know this is a few months old, but I wanted to add my experience. I had a sulcus tear with DD1 and it was about 4 months before I felt back to my normal self. It took another couple of months before sex was painless. I just had DD2 a week ago and had another sulcus tear, in the same place, and this time it almost tore through to the rectum. I had to be taken to the OR for repair. My OB said it was weakened from the first time around and the likelihood I'd tear again with a third vaginal delivery is high. Next time, it could be even worse and I could have serious long term complications, namely incontinence of my bowels. I just wanted to let you know about my experience so you can talk to your OB about this if you decide to have another baby. My OB is recommending a c-section for future deliveries.
