1. What's the most unusual or interesting thing that's ever happened to you? This is fairly unusual I guess: I once won an Audrey Hepburn/ Holly Golightly look alike contest
And yes I have photos to prove it. I won a fabulous pearl necklace for it too!
2.. If your house caught on fire (fun question right?) and you only had time to grab one item, what would it be? (assuming family and pets are all safe). Assuming I'm already wearing my wedding rings, I'd probably grab my laptop first. Next would be my wedding album.
3. Whats the first thing you want to do after baby is born that you've been avoiding while pregnant? Drink a tall fountain Dr. Pepper. I haven't so much been avoiding for caffeine reasons it just doesn't taste the same anymore.
4. Tell us a funny quirk about you. I always want to sit on the inside like at a booth or at a movie theater. I had to sit on the end of a row recently and it totally ruined the movie for me. I'm love to feel closed in.

1. What's the most unusual or interesting thing that's ever happened to you? I won a trip to Mexico when I was 19. I was working at a restaurant and the entire staff was divided into teams....waitresses got points for selling "add ons" (add coleslaw, add salad, add soup etc), the rest of the staff got points for work well done and the team with the most points got to go to Mexico for a week. That was pretty awesome.
2.. If your house caught on fire (fun question right?) and you only had time to grab one item, what would it be? (assuming family and pets are all safe) Could it be my entire shoe collection? Technically (and I love a technicality!) it's one item hehe. After collecting shoes for years, I'd be devestated to lose them, especially my Valentinos which I adore!!!
3. Whats the first thing you want to do after baby is born that you've been avoiding while pregnant? I must be honest. After a day or two, I would love to have a glass of wine! I miss wine!
4. Tell us a funny quirk about you. I have incredibly annoying (or endearing as DH says) OCD. I have a thing about numbers, even numbers specifically. All things must end in even numbers so steps should go "1, 2, 1, 2" and bites of food should be the same. 4 is the best because it is 2 2's. 16 is good because it's 4 4's and a 4 is made up of 2 2's. I could go on but you get the point *sigh*
1. What's the most unusual or interesting thing that's ever happened to you? I lived in Hawaii for six years. My mom's from there, and my dad magically got stationed there when I was 2 1/2. It's been almost 20 years since we moved to Oklahoma, and I still miss it. And all of my family there. And the food.
2.. If your house caught on fire (fun question right?) and you only had time to grab one item, what would it be? (assuming family and pets are all safe) If we're being honest, the memory box for my second born. It's all I've got from his short life, and I would do anything to keep it with me.
3. Whats the first thing you want to do after baby is born that you've been avoiding while pregnant? Pop open a bottle of Cupcake moscato.
4. Tell us a funny quirk about you. I wear a size 12 women's shoe. All of my running shoes are in men's sizes [10.5] because I can hardly find a women's running shoe in a 12. I wear a bigger shoe than my sister's fianc?. It's kinda freaky.
1. What's the most unusual or interesting thing that's ever happened to you? I met my DH in New Orleans during Mardi Gras, on the balcony of a strip club along Bourbon St. We found out after talking that we lived about 30 miles apart back in Texas. And here we are today.
2.. If your house caught on fire (fun question right?) and you only had time to grab one item, what would it be? (assuming family and pets are all safe) The hardrive with all my pictures on it!
3. Whats the first thing you want to do after baby is born that you've been avoiding while pregnant? Eat sushi!
4. Tell us a funny quirk about you. I have food issues: I don't like meat on the bone (too much non-meat looking parts) and I want most of my food to come bite-site, example; I HATE wedge salads, I should be able to just mix my salad up and eat it, not have to cut it first. (Things like steak and chicken are omitted from this, but still need to come OFF THE BONE). I also hide my salad fork and send the larger fork back after eating a salad, I prefer to have a small fork.
I use the small fork too! I never like the big fork, and it must have four prongs!

1. Happened to me: I had an ulcer in my cornea from contacts. About me: I've been to 49 states
2.. geez, if my photos were organized and on a hard drive or cd I would take that but they are all over the place so that won't work. I would grab my DH & my teddy bear he got me 8 years ago yesterday. I sleep with it every night.
3. I guess sushi but nothing has been hard to give up so far.
4. Now that it was mentioned, the fork thing. It must be a four pronged small fork.
1. What's the most unusual or interesting thing that's ever happened to you?
-I'll go with unusual. We were living in a 2nd floor condo in Virginia and DH was deployed at the time. I was sitting at my table eating dinner and heard this huge thud. I thought someone had dropped something on one of the patios above us. The dogs started barking and I realized there was a person on my balcony. My balcony was at least 50 ft above the ground. The idiot had been smoking pot in the unit above ours and thought it would be fun to play Spider Man. I called the cops.
2. If your house caught on fire (fun question right?) and you only had time to grab one item, what would it be? (assuming family and pets are all safe)
-It would be a toss-up between my purse and laptop, probably I would try for both.
3. What's the first thing you want to do after baby is born that you've been avoiding while pregnant?
-Have a glass of wine! And get some Chinese food! That has been my major food aversion and doesn't appear to be going away any time soon.
4. Tell us a funny quirk about you.
-I HAVE to make the bed before sleeping in it, and it has to made tight. I cannot sleep in an unmade bed, drives me crazy. Another one- When I load the dishwasher I organize all of the flatware by type into separate bins. It makes it a ton easier to unload later! My husband likes to mix things up just to piss me off.

While doing a private motorbike tour in vietnam this year, FI and I gate crashed a crazy, 500 person wedding. They were very impressed that I could scull beer, the men kept trying to propose to me, the old men all wanted to arm wrestle my 200 pound, goes to the gym every day 25 year old FI. My FI lost every time! The kids were terrified of these 2 huge, white kiwis haha. We were there for maybe an hour? It was a what the fluck just happened moment.

If all my photos where actually together, them. If all my clothes and shoes count as one, them. But as long as my FI and cats are safe, it really is all that matters.
3. Whats the first thing you want to do after baby is born that you've been avoiding while pregnant?
I haven't been avoiding caffeine, but I just hate it at the moment. Even coke or dr pepper or Mountain Dew. I am looking forward to enjoying that again. Same with veges, hate them at the moment, which is no good for a vegetarian!
4. Tell us a funny quirk about you.
I have 4 cats. I would love a couple more, but that would be bordering on crazy cat lady I think! And we just had fancy feast promo people in to work, I got 12 free cans! Yusssss!!
1. What's the most unusual or interesting thing that's ever happened to you? I lived in the Marshall Islands for four years as a child.
2.. If your house caught on fire (fun question right?) and you only had time to grab one item, what would it be? (assuming family and pets are all safe) The oil painting of our dog Max that DH's cousin painted for us as a wedding gift. It capture's his personality perfectly!
3. Whats the first thing you want to do after baby is born that you've been avoiding while pregnant? Soak in a hot tub with a bottle of wine...probably going to have to wait a while to do this though!
4. Tell us a funny quirk about you. I have social anxiety sometimes and hate being in crowded places like a grocery store on the weekend or a mall during the holiday season. I also hate the big dinner fork and always use a salad fork.

1. What's the most unusual or interesting thing that's ever happened to you?
DH works for a local city that is apart of a sister city program. Through the program we were able to visit a small city in Japan. They had a parade for the taiko festival while we were there and put all of the people from DH's city in front. Then they gave me the flag and had me lead the parade because I was the only blonde haired blue eyed one in the group. I didn't realize what was happening until it happened. Then, a few weeks later our host family sent us the local paper, I was on the cover three days in a row. Still the craziest thing ever!

This makes me grateful that DH has put all of our photos in the cloud...I think that is what it is called. I would take the vanity my granddaddy made my nana and cover it with great-grandmas knitted blanket...kind of a cheat I know. hehe
3. Whats the first thing you want to do after baby is born that you've been avoiding while pregnant?
A piping hot bubble bath and chilled glass of moscato!! I have never wanted a glass of wine so much.

I get the heebie jeebies randomly and will sometimes like jump out of the shower, run out of a room, or leap into a car when it happens. It is sort of ridiculous. DH is sweet enough to come stand with me or talk to me when it happens even if he is on the other side of the house. Man, this makes me sound nuts. haha
When I was born, I had a huge head. It was the biggest head they had seen at the hospital. They thought I had water on my brain, but luckily I didn't

My food can not touch. Separator plates are my best friends. If anything on my plate touches, I can't eat it. It terrifies me when people use bread to soak up juices from their plates... Yuck!!

1. What's the most unusual or interesting thing that's ever happened to you? I have to say that being pregnant at this age feels pretty unusual and interesting! Although I have always wanted to have kids, I never thought of how it would feel to be pregnant. This is definitely not what I thought.

4. Tell us a funny quirk about you. When I'm eating M&M's, popcorn, etc. I have to eat an even amount.
1. Unusual.... I had a bullet fly through my wall 6 inches above my sleeping head when I was 12. No one was hurt, but my parents house has the patch to prove and I have a middle school award with a bullet hole in it, where it landed after it passed through the wall. We lived on the outskirts of town near a highway, so cops guessed it was stupid kids or adults not intending to hurt anyone.
2. Just my baby. I don't have anything I treasure. My H on the other hand would want me to help him grab all his many treasures!
3. Shaving. Its no issue right now but after around 6 months shaving becomes a task. I hate any hair on my legs or bikini area. I usually shave everyday but during the end of last pg it became like once a week because it was so difficult and time consuming.
4. I talk to my baby all the time like he'll start conversing back with me and answer my questions. Not baby talk, just regular. Even in public. looks like I'm talking to myself. I have to talk to someone! It gets lonely being a SAHM!

I honestly feel like I am one of those people who always has the most bizarre stuff happen around or to me. Its hard to pick just one.

hah! Well since we had a false alarm last year, I know the answer to this - and it was absolutely our wedding album! After realizing there was no imminent danger, we went back in and got more of our photos. This reminds me to get a fire/water proof safe.
3. Whats the first thing you want to do after baby is born that you've been avoiding while pregnant?
HAVE SEX!!!! It has been banned, and I have been feeling really deprived. (to be clear, not IMMEDIATELY, of course after the appropriate time has passed lol)

I am a hair twirling addict! I can't stop. I have a friend who is also, and I am always so relieved to hang out with her since we can twirl with reckless abandon! (I try not to do it around people usually)
OMG me too! My favorite number is 8, and I love even numbers. I like 4 cuz it is half of 8, and 2 is half of 4.....so when I got my CPA license number from the state I live in, my number had three numbers followed by 824.....and I seriously flipped out! I guess that's why I am a CPA....the whole OCD with numbers thing :
You must love the number 144! (one of my favorites and I don't even have numbers OCD!)
1. What's the most unusual or interesting thing that's ever happened to you? DH and I met because our mothers knew each other from church and thought it would be fun to set us up. (All unbeknownst to DH and I at the time) They planned this elaborate get-together for our families and right before their eyes we hit it off right away :-) we played right into their trap. let's just say we now jokingly tell people we had an arranged marriage.

I am not a very sentimental or materialistic person so I think just my phone. or if I had superhuman powers i would bring my king-size bed (everyone should have a king size. amazeballs)
3. Whats the first thing you want to do after baby is born that you've been avoiding while pregnant? DTD while sipping wine. too scared to do the baby dance right now. and will probably be too scared for the next 7mths. poor DH.
4. Tell us a funny quirk about you. I'm claustrophic. I won't get into an elevator by myself. ever. and if i know ahead of time i will need to take an elevator I mentally check my purse to make sure i have my phone, water and a snack. same goes for public bathrooms with no windows. I also like to take the ends of my hair and prick/tickle my face with it (say what???). Hello, my name is goldenB and i'm a nut.
