Our peanut started on Zantac now since our nicu didn't treat her reflux , she was discharged Monday and I took her to her ped and she's on Zantac twice daily now, anyone find it help ful?
We did. It made a world of a difference for our preemie. However, it might be a few days before you see relief from it.

Yes. My 35w0d baby went from her usual happy self to a screaming in pain baby from reflux at around 6weeks. Zantac helped her return to her normal self. We had to go back to be weighed and get new prescription every 2 weeks as she outgrew her dose and symptoms would return.
We just switched over to prevacid this morning. Our specialist said that almost all babies become resistant to Zantac after 2 months. So keep an eye on it and if you notice it isn't working as well despite new dosing ask about a switch.
(btw, I thought the Zantac was bad, the prevacid is way worse and she takes 3x the dose...poor thing)
It is weight sensitive though. So once it starts working for a while and you notice it stops working as well, it might be time for an adjustement if LO gained a decent amount of weight.
