Babies on the Brain

Any advice?

Hello everyone!

My husband and I have been wanting to start TTC, but I am a little concerned because of my irregular AF. I used to be on Depo, but my last shot was march 2012. My first AF after I stopped was in August 2012 I got two that month. They have been irregular ever since. I am now on day 45, this is the longest I have gone without AF. Does anyone have any advice on how to get back on a regular track? I also try to track it with two different phone apps.

Thanks!

Unless one of those apps is Fertility Friend, delete them both and sign up for FF (it's free).  FF uses your basal body temperature to detect when/if you ovulated.  You can also check cervical mucous and use OPKs if you wish but the temp is the big thing.  Make an appoint with your doctor if you don't get your period for 60 days.  You can be prescribed Provera to jumpstart your cycle.  BC can really screw with your cycle and it takes a while for your body to get used to regulating itself.  GL!

    This is good advice.

The book Taking Charge of Your Fertility is another great charting resource.
