I am over this ankle injury. It has gone on long enough. I have been to two specialist and each are saying the same thing. I need time. Today my ankle is so big my effing brace will not tie. I may have to wear the stupid bleeping boot again. I have no idea why it is so big. I know I did not over do it yesterday. The only thing I can think of is the weather. It is nasty here today. I have an email in to my doctor, but they are out of the office until Monday. I leave for TN tonight. Chances of me being seen are slim to none. If anyone wants to trade ankles, I am willing to throw in an extra $50 bill for your inconveniences. Oh and it is tender to the touch again. I am pretty sure this is a result from wearing the brace and not in a boot full time.
womp womp womp.

Re: Woe is me
There's nothing worse than being in pain. I've been dealing with sciatica pain for 6 weeks now. My doctor was really helpful ::roll my eyes:: when I went in Monday. I quote, "Well, I don't know what's going on with your nerves. Let's give physical therapy a go, and see where we're at in 4 weeks. PT won't cure your compressed nerve, but it won't hurt it either." Thanks doc.
I hope you get your ankle sorted soon!
I hit the six week mark ten weeks ago. I was put in a boot Mar. 11. My initial injury was November 6. The reinjury was in late Feb. Just shoot me! Ok, now that I'm done being dramatic.
I hope your back heals soon. PT is a good step in the right direction. Have you asked for an MRI? Be vocal. You are your own voice in your health. Sometimes doctors only go off what they see. Best of luck!
