Pretty sure there's a killer coming

So DH and I are watching tv about thirty min ago, dd still awake diiicking around in her crib per the usual when the whole house goes black. Naturally I freak a bit, being terrified of the dark, don't judge. I send DH to grab dd before she flips that she's without a night light, and we light candles and cell phone flash light apps.

While dd bounces around on the couch manning the flash light, [and by manning I mean blinding us] I'm calling our power company to check what's going on. I use dhs number to check the outage area and sure enough they confirm it, but don't say why. I tell DH I bet some killers shut the power to come get us, and he says "at least we will be in a movie"

Anyway it gets freaky when a rep from the power company calls my phone asking my address, just to say "yeah there's an outage. We don't know why but they're working on it" CREEPY! It's creepy because I used dhs number to call originally, and my number isn't even on the account. Why did mysterious lady call me? Why is the power still out? I made DH get the gun.

Hold me.

  • She called you because you put that number on your account when you registered it.

No, my number isn't associated with our account. At all.

And yes, I have been without power for a long period of time, this was mostly just for shiits and giggles. So yes, it's for real.

This is what I'm going with.

Anyways this wasn't actually meant to be serious, I was just bored and letting my imagination go a little wild during the blackout.
