QOTW: DH and I are going to a cookout tomorrow night and another one during the day on the 4th. He has to work Friday and Saturday so no plans for those days. I hope you all stay safe and have a ton of fun!!

Donor should of started stims today. Didnt have time to call RE for an update. Will prob call tomorrow. So excited.
Qotw: no plans just gonna hang by the pool on the 4th. And fri and sat I have to work.hope everyone has a great holiday!!

Had both my psych eval on the 21st, and also just today my medical eval!  I will update in a post soon.  I am *sooooo* close to being ready to cycle for someone.  They need to get the results of the blood tests, and my medical records still haven't been sent from primary care yet (need to call and harass them).

 For the Fourth, we are spending time with family during a classic cookout with fireworks

Had my second ob appointment today. She couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler, so we went over to the ultrasound room and saw the little one flipping around and heard the heartbeat, 166 BPM. I think at that moment is when this all just became real. 

For the 4th: just hanging out at home, teaching my husband math for his test this week!

Nothing new for me.  As for the 4th, just working a 24 hour shift

I haven't checked in in awhile because nothing new has really happened. We are still on the waiting list at our clinic...last I knew we were 4th on the list. I have been researching other clinics/agencies because I know the donor pool at our clinic is very small, and they also don't have the greatest success rates (40-50% fresh). The problem is the cost of other places are almost double what we would be paying at our current clinic! So we are waiting to see what they can offer us for donors and go from there. I guess there are pros and cons to all options.

For the 4th we are having a BBQ with family and friends at our house. Our next door neighbors always do a huge fireworks show so we are planning on watching that. They are almost as good as the town fireworks and we can watch from our own backyard, it's awesome!

It looks like we should be moving forward a little sooner then we thought possible! So I hope have a calendar soon, this is a shared cycle so it's a little nerve racking to know that I also have to make sure not only the donor is doing good, but the other recipient is as well. So a little nervous.

Just going to enjoy having the day off and will probably just bbq at home and visit with neighbors.

I took my last BCP yesterday! 

We are in a cabin by a lake for the week with family and friends. On the 4th we are going on a boat with a band, eating a 3 course meal and watching the show from the water. I'm excited.

Well, the universe has decided to throw everything plus the kitchen sink at me... My bloodwork came back positive for clotting factor issues. Seriously.

The good news: Still on for our 7/18 FET!

The bummer news: Likely Lovenox or Heparin shots daily for 9 glorious months. Oy.

I am going to see my MFM on the 15th per my RE's "ask" to have a plan in place before I get pregnant. It's ok - honestly with all of the delays and issues, I just shrugged it off and said "ok, what do I have to do?" which is good. So for now - all is well I've just heightened my place on the 'high risk pregnancy' list. But still hoping our LO is on the way as of the 18th

QOTW: A friend said "you two should have a 4th of July BBQ and invite me." so we did - just invited 16 people of which probably 2/3 will show which is perfect for a little backyard gathering.

2Mamaz-sorry to read about your clotting d/o, but glad to hear that you have a plan to manage your next pg to see things through until you have your take home baby.

Update-Nothing new here.  OB appt. on 7/13, can't get here soon enough.  Hoping to get anatomy scan scheduled at that appt.

Will be working on the 4th, then joining the rest of my family at my sisters to celebrate her Birthday.

Nothing for the 4th this year since I'm have to pick my parents up at the airport. Enjoy the day and be safe!

Hi! I've been thinking of everyone! Sorry I haven't had a chance to respond.

Things are going well here.  I had a suspected placenta previa at my a/s, but it had resolved by my next appointment which was a huge relief.  I had to travel one week for work which wore me out, and I have one more trip in a few weeks after which I plan to just stay home.

We don't have a lot of plans for the 4th.  We may go to a local parade and then will probably go swimming.  Hope everyone has a good day!

My update:  Thanks to a large cyst and being held up on some medication I need to take before my FET, I'm officially going to be an August Shooting Star instead of a July Firefly.  I go back to the RE next week to check on the cyst as well as to work out all of the details for my FET.  Hopefully will have a calendar then...can't wait to finally be moving forward after a long break!!

QOTW:  I went to see a local fireworks display last night and am going to a family BBQ today. 

Also, I wanted to wish everyone a Happy 4th and a great weekend!  As always, hugs to anyone that needs them, too!

Hello everyone! I am a little late to this check-in...

My husband has a SA today, and then we meet with the RE in a couple of weeks to go over the results of all of my labs and the SA. I am getting super impatient, although I don't know why I feel in such a rush after years of this mess.

For the 4th, just hung out with family, cooked out, watched fireworks on TV. Pretty boring stuff over here.

I have been reading posts but hadn't checked in because nothing new is happening. Normal pregnancy so far, we're 26 weeks in and things seem pretty standard. Not really much in the way of sickness or pain (some stretching pain near my sternum/ribs but nothing crazy) and overall, we're just getting ready for October!

 

QOTW: So far, the holiday's been pretty good. DH ran a 5k, hung out at my sister's restaurant, watched fireworks with friends, trying to get the pool to a swimmable condition, saw Despicable Me 2, grilled out. Nothing too crazy.

So excited to see many of us have begun to cycle, fingers crossed we have lots of BFPs very soon!!!

Got a call from the DE Coordinator that our appt to sign our consents will be 7/22. I asked about a tentative transfer timeline, but I was told we will have a better idea at this final appt. I was told typically 6-8 weeks after this appt....feels like FOREVER-we are so ready to start already!!

This year my H and I were lucky to have a few days off together. We had a cookout, walked down to the fireworks and went to a pool party. I also did a road race on the 4th, which was terrible because of the heat, but I finished with better time than I had expected. My goal was to just finish, so I am happy about that!

Very late for check in.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for cheering me on, I read your well wishes and it meant a lot.  I just didn't have it in me to respond, I'm having a hard time with this transfer (mentally).

So I updated in a separate post.  FET#2 went well, 2 great hatching blasts transferred and I'm in the the 2ww.  Beta #1 is scheduled for Thursday July 11. 

QOTD - We are Canadian, DH and I spent July 1st flying to Seattle, where we checked in the room and tried to get a good night's sleep as FET was on July 2nd. On July 4th, I was still staying quiet and we didn't do much but did end up watching the Fireworks go off all over the bay from our hotel room.  We had a short walk on the 5th and then to bed early as we had to leave for airport at 6am on the 6th.
