Was born via RCS June 27 at 11:13am. He weighed 7 pounds 12 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. We are breastfeeding like a champ but the nipples are ready to commit suicide. I'm hopefully seeing a lactation consultant sometime this week. I'm slowly but surely getting better from the c section. Those post baby coming out contractions during BF are no flucking joke! I remember it didn't hurt so bad with DS1 and I did hurt with DS2 but this time around I wanted to punch someone in the taco that shiz hurt so bad. It's gotten better and it was all worth it bc Jackson is perfect and beautiful and I am so in love.

I've heard that the post-baby contractions were horrible the second time around. Not looking forward to that! Congrats on your son- love the name btw:)

Oh I remember those contractions!! The worst! Also, I ended up with Thrush my first week of breast feeding both of my kids. Keep that in mind if the pain doesn't stop after you see the lactation consultant. I put up with that for 6 weeks because I thought it was just suppose to hurt! This time I'm starting treatment that first day.

Congratulations! I don't think I'd heard about the contractions part. There's one more thing to look forward to. I have heard the first couple weeks of BF are the hardest. The nip destruction makes me nervous.
