Hey ladies. Hope everyone is well and our LO's are right where they need to be.
So I had my first OB appt as noted in my last post and he doesn't do the US in his office, which has had my mind going nuts. The office that does tthe US for him is so rude and they only do them mondays or thursdays at 11 or 1. My husband and I both work, and he wants to be at the US. In addition, I have to pay the specialist copay upon each visit. Now, I've been with my OB for so long and I hate to do this but I have to part ways. I have an amazing doctor who my RE highly recommends, and they do US and BW in office.
So our first appt is July 10th.
I'm so nervous, I haven't had an US in two weeks and I miss my little baby. I hope she's still growing and on track. How do u guys get thru the wait?
One of my close friends does US as sshe is studying to be a tech. SO, that is this saturday!!! I'm so excited, nervous, anxious!!!!!!!
My symptoms pretty much consist of fatigue, headache and sore bbs. And I'm showing. I had to buy new pants and undies. My family is on to me. I'm breaking the news to them soon, god willing things continue to go well so I can yell it to the world!!

I don't mean to sound snarky, but welcome to being treated like a normal pregnant person. I think the adjustment from all the attention our REs give us to going to our OBs is rough, but it's what happens.
My OB's office does ONE u/s. Yes, just one. At 20 wks. MH and I both work...in very inflexible professions, but you make it work. Especially if you know in advance when appts are. The co=pay thing does stink though.
I agree with you 100. At the RE we get pampered. I did a lot of thinking before I switched and I just think its best. My old OB is awesome and I love him but honestly when I was telling him my concerns and he kinda didn't address them nor did his staff it kinda upset me. And his front desk help sucks now. It was time.
