Pickles?

I never had this with my first pregnancy, but I've definitely noticed it this time - although more so with the pickled banana peppers than actual pickles, but what is it about them?  The vinegar taste?  I wouldn't say I crave it, but once I start eating them, I can't stop.  I could probably eat a whole jar of these banana peppers at once!

a month ago I was obsessed with salt and vinegar chips and I probably wanted to eat them morning, noon and night...I think it was the vinegary taste that got me but they werent so pleasant coming back up..(TMI, sorry!)

I think it's the salt. SIL went through a jar or so a week of those bad boys when she was pregnant. My thing is olives. Mmmmm

Hmm - now I need to google cravings and sex predictions!  I know the salt vs sweet, but I've had both so thats a fail.  Yay for fun!

You know what else is good? I think it's called Italian mix, but it's pickled cauliflower, carrots, bell peppers, pickles all in one. So good. You can find it right next to those banana peppers.

I've been crazy for anything salty and pickled. To the point of eating half a jar of spicy kimchee cabbage last night. Heartburn be damned.

I read something about women who crave pickles during pregnancy have some mineral deficiency. Maybe that's why you can't stop eating the banana peppers.

Sparked my curiosity now too! Last pregnancy with DS I wanted a lot of pickles. This time, sure they taste good when I have them, but I'm not all over them. Maybe that means tem picnk for us this time!.. ugg can't wait til anatomy scan in August!

I craved pickles with my first two pregnancies [both boys]. This time, even smelling pickles makes me want to puke. Sad, because I really like pickles.

This just made my mouth water. I love Dill Pickles as it is.. Mmmmm I can eat the whole jar!!

I love olives too.  Mostly the green ones...yum.
