4) I've read a lot about VBACS and inductions lately.  Where does your OB/midwife stand on inducing labor?  Do they allow it?

1) How far along are you? 29 weeks today

2) Any appointments this week? Just fun ones, since today is my birthday!  Headed to the chiropractor soon for my weekly adjustment, then off for a massage and hair cut.

3) How are you feeling? Good.  Baby gets in weird positions periodically, which gets uncomfortable, but otherwise, I'm good.

4) I've read a lot about VBACS and inductions lately.  Where does your OB/midwife stand on inducing labor?  Do they allow it? My OB has said from the beginning she won't induce because of the increased risk for uterine rupture.  However, if I'm already in labor and we need to, she's okay augmenting with small amounts of Pitocin.  I'm not entirely sure where she stands on things like foley bulb induction or breaking my water to "induce".  Obviously, I'd rather go into labor on my own without any intervention, but if I'm to the point of facing RCS, I'd be willing to try other things.

2. Had my appointment yesterday. We are doing good. I suck at taking my blood sugar numbers though so we might have to monitor that during labor.

I do have an appointment on Thursday to see my bowenworkcan massage therapist for a session and she will do a couple of moves that will help me along if im already going!

3. Feeling alright. Extreme discomfort is normal now.

4. Depends on how you are progressing. They will do foley bulb but they also try to stay away from interventions which I like.

2 Any appointments this week? Just came back!! Glucose test and a long chat with my midwife. I love her!!!!

3 How are you feeling? Great! I've been exercising more and I think that really helps!

4 I've read a lot about VBACS and inductions lately. Where does your OB/midwife stand on inducing labor? Do they allow it? I just asked about this today!! She said they will check baby at 40 weeks, 6 days to see how big and if baby is doing ok, she is comfortable with letting me go to 41,3. At that point they decide on a case by case basis but don't like to let you go much past that. She said she likes to try stripping membranes first. The next step is breaking water and pitocin if necessary. I feel comfortable with the plan and the reasoning she gave for each step! Hoping it won't come to that anyway but glad there is a plan I feel good about!!

3) How are you feeling? Good, but these last few weeks feel very different from my pregnancy with DS. Some minor complaints, but I can live with them.

I am 28 weeks 5 days.

No appointments until the end of July, but I am a little worried because baby has been measuring two weeks ahead at my last two prenatal visits. I was hoping for a smaller baby this time around.

I have started getting back aches, but I am otherwise feeling great.

I thought Kaiser's policy was not to induce for VBACs, but my midwife just said, "they don't usually like to." I do not think I would want to be induced for a VBAC. If I so not go into labor naturally by 41 weeks or so, I am fine with scheduling a RCS.

2) Any appointments this week? Next appointment with midwives is July 25

3) How are you feeling? AMAZING! This pregnancy is going so much more smoothly and comfortably this time than my first (Knock on wood)

4) I've read a lot about VBACS and inductions lately.  Where does your OB/midwife stand on inducing labor?  Do they allow it? My VBAC will not be induced because I am doing it at home and choose not to altogether. There was so much I wasn't told about how induction increases your chances of C-section. I am just trying to give myself the best chance of healthy baby, which to me means...option 1- Natural Homebirth VBAC or option 2- If, like last time water breaks early, going in for C-section. Not to say other ways are unsafe, but for me this is my plan and worst case scenario back up plan. Good luck gals!

 Been lurkering on this board, but looking for more info support for a vbac so coming out of lurking

3) How are you feeling? Not to bad, but tired by end of the day

4) I've read a lot about VBACS and inductions lately.  Where does your OB/midwife stand on inducing labor?  Do they allow it?  In general they will induce. But for vbacs they will not induce.

2 Any appointments this week? Next week.

3 How are you feeling? Ok. A lot if back pain this pregnancy and general aches and pains.

4 I've read a lot about VBACS and lately.Where does your OB/midwife stand on inducing labor? Do they allow it? If I have started dilating they will use pitocin but other than that nope. And I can't go past my due date so hopefully I go into labor on my own by week 39.

2) Any appointments this week?  None this week, but next week I have a growth u/s...something my last practice never did.

3) How are you feeling?  Great, but starting to get more tired.

4) I've read a lot about VBACS and inductions lately.  Where does your OB/midwife stand on inducing labor?  Do they allow it? We haven't explicitly discussed this, but I'm assuming they'd let me try for a VBAC even with an iduction.  That said, I've never gone past my due date, and I hoping #3 holds true to that and I don't need to find out!
