You read that right.
This girl at work met this new guy (two days after breaking up with her BD, but whatev). She told him she couldn't have kids for the next 5 years because she has Mirena. He then asked her if she still got periods, to which she said yes, just like she did before Mirena.
Then, he said, "Good because not having it isn't natural and I don't like that. That needs to be cleaned out."
I was like, "WTAF?" and she just shrugged it off.
Am I the only one that thinks this is ridiculous? I mean, I haven't had one in two years, so I guess I'm one dirty biitch. I just...can't.

Your friend should probably raise her standards.
DH would probably be happy if I never ever had a period as long as we could still have children. He's not a big fan of the whole thing.
Blood and clots are CLENSING.
I think we dated the same guy. He had also never heard of a cuticle. Thought I was making it up.
That's...odd.
For her information, though, she can get the Mirena out whenever she wants it and have a kid sooner.
He was worried his wife eating spicy Cheetos would burn the baby.
Although when discussing douching, my GYN did refer to my vagina as a self cleaning oven. Pretty sure he wasn't talking about my period though!
