Latex nipples smell funny?

I don't why, but it seems the latex nipple smells funny on the bottle. Did anyone else notice that??

They do smell weird, esp. the "newer" ones.  Kind of stinky...

Nope, not just you.  Plus they feel all waxy too, kind of slimy.  But they were the ONLY kind Mario would take--I tried the clear ones and he was not having it.
