i just can't (short vent)

I just can't emotionally handle another financial setback. We have been playing catch up since I finally landed a job after a long stretch of unemployment when Fifi was four months old. Now my husband found out that they are closing down the company where he works. I know we will be fine one way or another but, come on already Universe, these setbacks are getting ridiculous.

That just sucks! Sending stable, well paying job vibes your way!

My husband has been on the chopping block for layoffs for over 8 months now. The stress of waiting for the axe to fall is awful. So far we have gotten lucky but there is yet another layoff coming and I'm not sure he can survive round 4 of layoffs....

Oh I feel ya. If it's not one thing it's another over here too. My job is enough to covers DDs daycare and give us JUST enough money to slowly pay off our debts while DHs career covers everything else. It's always a slow climb but something always happens (eg; oil tank shuts down in early Spring, 2 flat tires on my car in the span of 1 month, etc) It never ends. Hopefully this closed door will just open another, better one for your hubby.
