Happ Canada Day!

BFing question: How many times per day are you BFing your LO these days?

Today she has BFed four times, and she sttn last night so it's not like she was tanking up all night. It feels like not a lot to me. I pretty much feed on demand but as she's not a very demanding baby sometimes we go pretty long stretches in between. And with her eating more solids i also sometimes find it hard to fit in BFing. But I just don't want to inadvertently wean [is that even possible] anytime soon.

So yeah, just wondering what you guys are doing these days.

Usually four or five times during the day, and a varying number of times in the night. I'm one of those bad moms who just nurses to get back to sleep in the middle of the night rather than fight him. Sometimes he sleeps through and others he's up three times.

When I'm home, it's like this:  6am, 9am, 1pm, 5pm, 830ish. We feed on demand so it varies. 

 

When I work, she takes 2 5oz bottles while I'm gone.

It varies depending on when she wakes up in the morning (anywhere from 4:30 to 7:00... awesome), but she eats every 3-4 hours (also depending on how long her naps are). Helpful, I know

2-3x a day...usually when she wakes up, takes a nap, and goes to bed for the night. I give her formula when she's awake bc she is too busy to nurse

4 nursing sessions and 4 solid meals, plus water here and there.

This except my LO eats probably 6 times during the day. She's not interested in eating a lot of solids, so I think that's why it's still every 3 hours. And she's up a couple times a night as well.

She just, as in the last few days, started spreading out a bit.  She nurses at 630am, 830am, 1030am, 100pm, 430pm, 730pm and sleeps through the night.  Long feeds first thing, before afternoon nap, and before bed.

It totally depends. If we're home all day it is probably every 2-4 hours. If we are out and about she pretty much doesn't nurse. If I get super full while we are out I have to beg and plead for her to nurse.

We are in the every 3-4 hour group as well.

DD nurses 3-4 times a day and sleeps all night. Now that she's eating 3 solid meals of food too, she doesn't seem to need more than that. Our sessions have also gotten much faster.

About 5 or 6 times. 7am, 11am, 3pm, 8pm, and 4am. She doesn't STTN consistently but we did successfully drop her 11pm feeding just a couple weeks ago. Making progress!

About every 3-4 hours and 1-2 times at night (I think the nighttime is more habit/comfort than hunger though). I only do people food 1-2 times a day though. I imagine if I did more, he'd nurse less.
