1) Whoever is on the invitation is invited. E.g., if you just put Sally Smith, only Sally will come. If you put Joe and Sally Smith, then they are both invited. No fancy wording is necessary.
2) Leave the wording to your hostess(es). You should NOT be hosting your own shower.

1. I understand to address it to whom ever is invited that, however, wasn't my question. I was looking for cute examples others might have used so there was no confusion with the invitation itself, not the outer envelope.
2. I'm not hosting my own shower.... I was hoping someone on the baby shower board could help me come up with ideas to pass on to the person who is hosting. Though I have someone throwing the shower for me, I still have a lot of input into the decisions.
