breastfeeding with a cold

I am breastfeeding and caught some type of cold/congestion. The baby is now congested at 8 weeks. I've been using saline solution and those snot removing things. Does anyone know how long it will last? Does breastfeeding help her?

The baby is doing just fine with no fever and eating consistently.

Yes, keep breastfeeding... It's the best thing you can do for your baby! Hopefully th stuffy nose gets better before long. Keep an eye out for a fever in which case you may need to contact your pediatrician/give baby Tylenol. Hope you and baby feel better soon!

Thank you. It's so frustrating because I am completely anal about washing my hands and sanitizing. Of course, I'm the one who gets sick. Blah.
