Who's trying again?

Anyone had thoughts of trying for baby number 2 or 3, etc?  My 1st pregnancy was the result of an IUI and she is 7 months old.  I'm wondering if I should hold off or start the process for the next IUI. Do I have to go through all the bloodwork again or can I just return to my doctor and start the same process that worked last time?

    Hi, I'm trying for 2 and many of the other ladies here are. I have no experience with IUI's yet. I conceived DS after 4 cycles of clomid. TTC2 has been more of a challenge.
    I think there are a few things you need to address. Are you breast feeding? And has AF showed up? I think most RE's like you to wean prior to starting again and even some recommend waiting until your 1st is about 1 year old. I'm sure the other ladies here have better info than I do but I'm pretty sure you still have to undergo some baseline tests. I'm mobile bumping so I can't see your siggy or if you have a diagnosis. Anyways, welcome and good luck!

    We are trying for #2 and my son is currently 15 months. SG had us do all of our bloodwork, checking the tubes etc all over again before we could begin. Good luck to you!

     I forgot to add..SG said I had to be done breastfeeding 6 weeks prior to taking any blood tests etc. So like OP said you need to take that into account before starting.

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

    6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    We are, DD is 9months and was a surprise during a break waiting to start IVF. We have decided to try on our own for a while because I am still bfing and have yet to get my cycle back.

    Im trying for number 2. We waited until DS was 1 because we werent ready. Tried on our own 3 months then did treatment got KU and ended in miscarriage. Now trying again and DS is 2. IF is so unpredictable so if you arent on a time constraint Id wait but if not then go back to treatments. They just did bloodwork on me.

    I'm 7 days out from having my 3rd. I really prefer more spacing between babies so I waited until DS2 was about 18 months to resume treatments so I'd have at least a 2 yr spacing.

    I weaned DS2 at 15 mo so I could do a clomid challenge test which my RE wanted to do to get my numbers. (I was AMA at the time, 36yr old.)
