Femara + rash

I started femara Friday night and today I woke up with some crazy looking hives under my arms.  Is this a fluke and totally unrelated or has anyone else had tis happen?

I've never had that reaction. Is this the first time you've taken it?

Anything else you changed or did yesterday that may have caused it?

have not ever had anything like that happen.  Actually have not noticed any SE for me on femara.  have you looked in the package insert to see if that is a common adverse reaction?

Rash is a side effect but just in case you're having an allergic reaction, I would call your RE and see if he says to continue it.

    Good luck!

I was outside at a birthday party but it wasn't even hot, so I don't think it heat related.  It is the first time I have taken it and nothing else has changed.  I do occasionally wake up with random hives but this is the worst they have ever been.  I hope it is a fluke!

I had a rash during my first cycle on Clomid. It was located on the right side of my body, like, just below my ribs. My doctor told me that it was shingles.

I'm not sure if it was related to the meds or if it has anything to do with your situation, but just thought that I'd share...
