Anyone have a sound machine/night light that doesn't break every few months. We have had more then I can count homedics sounds spa that keep breaking. My daughter loves them but so sick of them breaking. The projector dies after a few months, no fail.
We've had this frog light that projects stars on the ceiling that has lasted 2.5 years now! It has white noise built in, but it shuts itself off after about 20 minutes. We've never used it at night though, but I imagine it would last.
We have the Sleep Giraffe from bcloud. It doesn't have a light, but some of their products do. DS has had it since he was born and uses it every night. It's still going strong.
This always happens with our Soundspas too. I have one for each kid and keep a spare on hand at all times lol. Amazon will allow you to return them up to 90 days and if you are past that time, the manufacturer will send you a replacement. (unfortunately you do have to ship the defective unit which costs a few dollars).

My kids both have Sleep Sheeps, sound only, and they love them. The batteries last forever! CloudB, the company that makes them, also makes the Twilight Turtles and Ladybugs which are light projectors.
Wow I am surprised you have had issues with the homemedics one. I have had mine for almost 3 years and no prob whatsoever. I don't use the projection on it, scares my little guy, but I play music all night long for him. I use a night light plugged into socket, it's an LCD one that I bought at home depot for like $5 that doesn't need to be turned off and on. It turns on when it's dark and shuts off when it's light. I love it.
With the homedics sound spa the projector is what keeps breaking after a few months. I have not had any issues with the sound part of it. I think watching the projector go round and round helps DD#1 fall asleep. I have not replaced this last one and she seems to take for ever to fall asleep since it broke.

I second this one. no projector, but durable and reliable.
