My hubby has a question about sleeping

Hey my hubby wants to know about stress felt while your ladies were about the enter there 3rd trimester (I am 26 weeks). He is I think havering anxiety attacks and really really bad dreams. Mostly something bad happening to me or being put in a positon where he never gets to meet our daughter. Anyone have the same thing? He also wants to know if there  is anything he should be prepping for as we enter this stage of the game. Thanks guys!

Re: My hubby has a question about sleeping

  • I was calm and cool, most of my wife's and I's families don't have any troubles in the third trimester so we didn't stress at all.

If he is really that stressed and he hasn't read any of the baby books I would have him read them.  The biggest worry is the delivery and as long as you have a good doctor you shouldn't have to worry.  The two of you might want to watch some of the baby story or other shows about child birth.  I wouldn't watch some of the anti-hospital ones though unless you are planning on giving birth at home.

  • We're as far along as you are. My biggest fear is the cord being wrapped around the neck. My dd came out this way, but ds1 was flawless. it's natural to be concerned, but I'm sure all 3 of you will be fine. I'm under the assumption that you're not high risk. Just let him know his fears and anxiety are okay and you'll work through them together.
