Fondant Smash Cake

Would a fondant smash cake be too hard for LO to smash?  Seems like it would be.

    Not only that, but even if he did get it smashed, it is a potential choking hazard. I don't think it would look good in pictures either.

    We had fondant cake for guest and butter frosting smash cake for LO
