Noethola

Its a mix between Gaelic and Hawaiian. Noeth is Gaelic for "pure" and Ola is Hawaiian for "life". I chose it because of the cultural connections, but also because I like to be as green and organic as possible. I raise my own garden, and one of these days we will move to enough land to raise our own meat.

 

Use it in many places since college (2004). Started out on The Knot in 2010.

Is there meaning behind the screen name/avatar name that you use? Yep, it was my username for an email addy in college...contains my maiden name and initials. If I had known it was my display name I would have chosen something else

How long have you used the name? Did you start out on The Knot, The Bump, or The Nest? Since I joined in 2011...the day I got engaged I joined the knot.

Would you change it if you could keep all your posting points and what would you change it to? Yep! I'd change it to something to remind me of my daughter maybe...like AnaAngel or AnasMommy something like that

Is there meaning behind the screen name/avatar name that you use? it is an old childhood nickname, my name is Erica and apparently I was a perky child. My mom called me Erky and then Perky was added in front creating PerkyErky. A few close family and friends still occasionally call me Perky.

How long have you used the name? Did you start out on The Knot, The Bump, or The Nest? I tend to use Perky or PerkyErky as my nickname on various sites. It's easy to remember and I have used it probably since college for different things. I started out on The Knot.

Would you change it if you could keep all your posting points and what would you change it to? nope, I would keep it. It's me and works.

My friend in college set my knot account up and decided on the username, That was in 09 when I got engaged. I wish I would have known I couldn't change it, I would love if I could but I don't really know what it would be... Probably something with my nn's (princess, mandy, and chick)  like princesscowgirl or something else to do with horses, or country lol

My screen name was my original email address back from when I was in HS. It's a take on princess and my first and middle initials.

I've used the name since I joined the knot in 2009.

Would you change it if you could keep all your posting points and what would you change it to?

I was never much of a poster until recently when I joined the loss boards. I thought about changing my screen name to something to represent my daughter, but I decided against it.

Is there meaning behind the screen name/avatar name that you use?  We got married on October 30th, devil's night....around here the city tried to rename it angelsnight to keep it from being such a "getting into mischief" kind of night.  I figured it made a better screen name than devilsnight.

How long have you used the name? Did you start out on The Knot, The Bump, or The Nest?  The Knot, which is why I picked a name that related to our wedding, so since January 2010 when we got engaged.

Would you change it if you could keep all your posting points and what would you change it to?  Probably not....I don't know what I would change it to, and I am used to it.  I feels like "my name".

My favorite singer in the entire world is Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, Audioslave).  Fluttergirl and Moonchild are 2 of my favorite songs that he does so it's that and 79 is my birth year

I'd probably change it to something like CorbinsMommy but I'm fine with what it is now.

Is there meaning behind the screen name/avatar name that you use?: OSU for my alma mater [Oklahoma State], Wifey for...well, wifey , 09 for the year I got married.

How long have you used the name? Did you start out on The Knot, The Bump, or The Nest? I've had that sn since the beginning. Started on TK with my wedding board in November 2008. They jumped ship to FB a couple of years ago, so I've just mainly been on TB with Devon's pregnancy/loss.

Would you change it if you could keep all your posting points and what would you change it to?: I'm fine with it. I'm not terribly creative, so coming up with another sn would be challenging for me. :P

Started using it when we joined the knot in 2010 after we got engaged.  I say "we" because when we were engaged, my husband and I both used the knot's wedding website.

 

I don't think I would change it now, but if it had been just me creating it in 2010 (not DH, too) I may have used something different...but then again, I don't know
