Ds is 10 weeks old and has had mucus in his BM for weeks now. The dr said I could try eliminating dairy but I know the effects if that even is the issue can take weeks. He is gaining weight amazingly and he doesn't seem to have other symptoms except common baby fussiness. Should I be concerned? It's almost always yellow not green.
Has your LO been drooling more lately? If they are, I have heard that that can cause it too. I would think that if they had a milk intolerance that they would be more fussy bc of their upset tummy. I don't really know much about that though, just some thoughts.

DD had this and the doctor wasn't concerned. She just said that it's possible DD had a cold (she did sound a bit snuffly) and that this could be the cause of it. She's nursing well so I don't worry about it now...I just keep a watchful eye on the colour.
