Should post a warning at the beginning of each episode advising about what sensitive subjects will be covered that week. Today's rerun is the one when Cali is in the car accident while she's pregnant and it takes them a while to find a fetal heartbeat while the try to keep her alive. Ugh. Ugly cry.
They totally should. I had to quit watching last season after Meredith got pregnant. Last week, a friend texted and told me she'd just watched one of last season's episodes when Meredith fell down the stairs while pregnant. I lost my last baby due to a fall [and subsequent placenta abruption].
After she told me that, I'm not sure I'll ever be able to watch Grey's ever again. Totally not their fault, obviously, but I'm now way too anxious about what could happen in the episode to even enjoy it anymore.
What is wrong with that show? Can't a woman have a HH pregnancy in that show? I stopped watching right after my miscarriage and won't go back to it. Maybe after my LO is actually in my arms I will be able to handle it better but I don't know.
I love greys but it often hits me hard. Private practice did too. Shonsa Rhimes loves to include pregnancy complications/miscarriages/infertility. I wonder if she's gone through something herself.
