I am a respiratory therapist. I initially went to school for nursing but changed my plans after 1 semester. Since I wanted to stay in the health care field and the pre-reqs are pretty much the same, I switched to RRT. I love my job and every time a nurse is cleaning a patient while i'm in the room, I thank my lucky stars it isn't me doing it. It's also nice to be full time but only have to work 3 days a week (12 hour shifts)
