I thought for sure this board would be lively...

 

We just moved back Austin and none of our old friends have kids.  We have a 2 yr old and one due late August.   I'm looking for playdates and mom groups.   Anyone?

The Austin boards are anything but lively...not sure why. I am pregnant with my first baby, having a little girl in early August. We live in South Austin. Been going to Yoga Yoga Westgate for prenatal yoga. Might be going to tomorrow to the 10:30 class.

We are expecting our first two b/g twins next week and live in south austin as well. I would love to be able to find a mommies group or play group. Any ideas?

Where are you located? I live in NW Austin, near Lakeline Mall. I have a two year old DD and just found out I'm due with #2 in early March. I get together with one other mommy friend and we usually like to meet up at different parks or hit up Lakeline's free play area.

I live in San Marcos and am looking for the same thing! I have a 3 month old son and don't really have any friends with kids. Would love to start a mom group for anyone that is interested!

This board used to be very active and then TB made some big changes and everyone went off board. I was just joining in when it happened and when they decided to make the other group closed I ended up leaving it because nobody could vouch for me and I was close to delivery and couldn't do any of the meet ups. Try Googling MOMs Club and see if there's a group in your "neighborhood."

Hey there I have a 2 year old and am SAHM. I just started a moms group so it's small, not intimidatingly huge as I've found some of the other groups to be. You can check out the site: https://www.meetup.com/Round-Rock-Moms-n-Tots/

We go to parks, have in-home crafty playdates and even Moms Only nights sometimes with pedicures and movies. You can add anything to the calendar so it fits around your schedule and we can see what you'd like to do.
You can always find me on Facebook first to chat for a bit if that's more comfortable
