Adeline is in disposables from now until Sunday afternoon. I'm not a happy mama. However she has been on a low dose of antibiotics so if she does happen to get yeast rash....I guess now's the time.
I'm bitter with dh for taking overtime. I know we need the money since we're moving in a couple weeks but I had to plan shop for and pack camping for this weekend by myself. The oonly thing he did was set out his clothes he was taking. I even packed his dang toothbrush.
I want a bigger car. Not a minivan. Not an suv. Somewhere in the middle. I know if I talk about it enough dh will sell a car and buy one. Obviously after the house is settled but....he can't stand to have a car over two years old. It's not my fault...flameful? He'd prob end up wanting the new car more than me and I'd blame him if we didnt end up loving it. He'd never even know........
Last night we had M in the sposies we got from the hospital when he was born in April. My husband felt like "we should use them up" because he won't fit them much longer. My FFFC is... I kind of love the smell of the Pampers-they remind me of those first few days in the hospital
I don't shave my legs above the knee and haven't since junior high.
But my leg hair is super light and thin; I have to really look to see it on my thighs. Below the knee where I shave more often it grows in thicker, but still light colored.
I was trying to use up some cheap disposable razors I had bought years ago. For the past month, even though I shaved almost every day I have had inch long leg hair. I went to the beach last week with it!

The overtime and packing would make me resentful, too. And let me know what vehicle fits those descriptions...we, too, want a bigger-than-sedan, smaller-than-SUV 7-seater. Do those exist?
They do. The dodge journey mazda 5 I think that's what it's called a Honda pilot. There's a bunch. I'll keep you posted.
It irritates me when people try to equate having insomnia with the sleep deprivation of having a baby. I get that insomnia sucks, but at least you actually feel awake in the middle of the night. It is so much worse when you are torn from blissful sleep by crying and then you have to stumble, bleary eyed, down the hall to take care of someone else. It especially irks me when people without children complain about being tired on facebook, haha. I seriously didn't even know what tired could feel like until I had DS.

I love my Honda Pilot! We just got the 2013 in December. It's actually an 8 seater but the 3rd row is definitely for kids, especially if you want to fit 3 across. I used to drive a Hyundai Sonata so it was an adjustment to being higher but the turning radius of the Pilot is so much better, definitely doesn't feel like a huge SUV. Also, all the 2013 models come standard with the back up camera which is really awesome. Gas mileage is pretty good for an SUV. When I fill up, the distance to empty says about 400 miles but I get much better mileage than that (living on an AF base everywhere is 30 mph, driving to town is 60 mph, and then town is 30 mph).
I am sadly selling my Mazda5 because I now have 3 kids and nanny a 4th, but LOVED it. It seats up to 6, but the back 2 seats are optional and fold down. I found it sportier and smaller than a minivan but had the sliding doors and other perks that I loved. PM me if you are interested in any more info on it. I really can't say enough about how awesome this car is for a family with 1-2 kids!
When people without children complain about being tired it takes all my strength to hold back from slapping them across the face.
LOL. My girlfriend lives across the country and had to fly home at the last minute because of a death in the family. She was telling me about the grueling flight schedule she was about to embark on and how she would basically lose out on a night's sleep. I honestly sympathized with her because it sounded pretty crappy. Then, I hung up the phone and I was like "wait a minute...my sleep schedule is basically that crappy every night." Ha ha.
I have another one. My BFF is TTC right now. I still haven't gotten my first PP AF and now I totally want to speed up the weaning process so it will come back. We've been half heartedly TTC, but I know it's not going to happen until I'm fertile again. I think it would be so much fun to be pregnant together and have kids the same age. I also know that it still might not work out that way, but I want to try. That is probably flame worthy, huh?
I haven't done diaper wash in 4-5 days because I wasn't running out of diaper and didn't realize that I hadn't done wash.
1. Eww.
2. I obviously have too many diapers.
I find myself in danger of this after my last purchase of used aplix pockets came. I now have enough diapers for daycare that I could go nearly 4 days without doing laundry.
I got some used Best Bottoms in the mail last night - when putting them away I realized I have way more diapers than ds could ever possibly use. Especially when the majority of them I don't think dh will ever use on his watch (he's a big fan of the K-I-S-S idea, so will only use pre-stuffed aplix pockets). Prefolds, fitteds, wool, flips w/ inserts, best bottoms w/ inserts, snap BGs...oh how do I decide which to pick?
*I fully realize that my second paragraph likely isn't flameworthy on a CD board.
I'm two loads behind in stuffing my diapers. (It's a good thing I have almost 6 days worth!) Anyway, my confession is that with all these diapers clean I'm planning to use disposables this weekend while we're at the waterpark and lake. I don't want to have to worry about stuffing and packing them. Plus now I can get them all organized, match up inserts, etc.

I pretty much wear DS all day long and occassionally I've used the bathroom while wearing him. It creeps me out a bit, but when my only other options are to wake him up by taking him out of the moby, or possibly pee my pants...you do what you gotta do!

Omg I weaned L like the day she turned one so we could get going TTC. I keep debating bfing vs getting KU for the next one, but I'm to cheap not to bf.
I've been totally trying to wean, but it's hard because DS has reflux, which has caused him to be a little behind on solid foods. And he will not drink any substantial amount of milk out of a sippy cup, so I really need to keep BFing for his nutrition. I seriously spend at least a half hour at every meal, trying to get him to take in more solids. Ugh. Annnnd I got mastitis this week, which I think was from trying to cut back on nursing sessions. It's awesome, lol.
I have been washing diapers M,W,F for a few months and it has been working great but when we went out of town at the beginning of the month I was able to wash several times while we stayed with family but had to go 4 days once we made it to the hotel portion of the trip. The diapers seem to be unharmed and this week I decided to only wash M/F and I'm contemplating making it a more common occurence as long as my diapers continue to come out clean this way.
Also we are kinda doing BLW but DH likes to feed her stuff that she couldn't pick up on her own. For a while I tried to encourage him to let her feed herself but I am enjoying the more plopable poop that is coming with the extra solids so I am not fighting him on it as much. I do try to at least let her direct the spoon or fork to her mouth when I help her eat and I try to make sure she has something to feed herself at each meal but I know we're not really BLWing this way.

Meh. I've peed holding a napping baby. My bladder can only hold so much, and there's no way I was waking her. I've probably pooped too. You're in good company

i have definitely done both while holding M over my shoulder! It's less stress than hearing a screaming baby while you're in there

I will join the pee/poop while holding a sleeping baby club too. I am fairly certain that I have done this while nursing him. I'm so talented
I kind of felt like punching my fiance today. Yesterday was my first day back to work, and I asked him to do a couple chores/errands for me since I couldn't do them myself. He didn't do them. So I asked him to do them again today, came home and nothing was done. I understand DD is crying and being a big handful because she isn't used to him taking care of her, but he when he brought her to my work for me to feed her, he came with an entourage of friends both days. So he has time to hang out but not help me? Working all day, then immediately taking over care of DD until she goes to sleep, then handling the chores that the fiance didn't get done does not make for a happy momma.

Ok good. I was afraid I had gone too far so I didn't want to admit to the nursing lol.
Yep, me too. And generally there is an unwelcomed audience made up of a two year old and four year old in there to boot.
I nursed DD while using a public restroom at the grocery store last week.... She was asleep when we got to the store or I would have fed her before we went in but we weren't done shopping when she woke up hungry and I had to pee as well... *Mobile embarrassed smiley*
