Mosquito bites

So my dd has had a bite on her forehead for over a month now. We cover it up with a bandaid everyday but at night she picks it off and scratches the bite open to the point that there is blood all over her sheets. Any suggestions to get her to stop? I don't want her to have a permanent scar.

I would get some liquid bandaid/surgical glue to cover it until it heals.  You can't pick that off as easily.  And maybe gloves or bandaids for her hands/fingers for one night so it can be allowed to heal for a night.
