We had to nix Hazel because my niece's name was Gretta and she passed and I just got hung up on it sounding like Hansel and Gretel. Not cool of me to do that to my sis... But now that I am seeing Wesley again, I may have to revisit it with DH!

No snark here at all, but comments like this are exactly why my husband and I aren't sharing our name. We love our selected name and the meaning behind it.

This!! One of our names gets slammed all the time on the baby names board, and I'm not putting it out there bc I don't want to hear unsolicited opinions. I'm all for giving opinions when someone asks, but when a person says the name IS this, criticizing it is like critizing the name of someone's already born child. I'd prefer ppl just judge silently if they don't like the names we choose ::mobile smiley::

I thought we had a name, but MH told me last night he no longer likes Cassidy, so back to the drawing board!

This. We are naming our girl Mollie Jace. I was informed by his oldest daughter this week with the ex there and involved in the convo that thay had discussed naming their her Molly and decided on ally instead. But now this is an issue because ally 14 wants to name her future child this.....

We werent' going to tell anyone, but then DH told his sister and our BIL last night, so I guess that's out the window. Our first child, baby boy will be Andrew Vincent.

We've been calling him Cornelius while he's inside though since 12 weeks just so we weren't referring to him as just baby.
