Re: Finally Friday!!
This morning I went in for my beta. I will find out later today the results.
I did not do a HPT this round, but AF is only due today and I am on crinone. I woke up to get ready for the RE appt. and noticedtmi brown Spotting. So I feel like I am already out. The nurse reminded me that I could still get a BFP, and part of me wants to hope so. So I will post again later with the results.
As for the weekend, I will either be drinking or crying. Haha. No really just relaxing at the beach this weekend with DW

What you have to remember is that most heterosexual couples take several months to get pregnant and you have the same 30 chance. If it doesn't work I would talk to doc about gonadatropin it is the injectable for but this is something naturally produced by the pituitary gland while chlomid is synthetic. I asked our doc about gonadatropin for my wife and that's how we got pregnant it actually produced more mature follicles. Where do you guys go? Long Island ivf? Praying for ya!

Happy Friday! I'm hosting a bridal shower for my BFF tonight. We're painting pottery, eating Papa John's pizza (at the bride's insistence), and going to a drag show. Trying to make it as special as I can. Her family isn't very supportive. I've learned not to make judgments about other people's relationships, so I've just decided if she's happy then there's no reason to bring her down. Her fiance is a sweet guy and really cares about her, so that's all anyone can ask!
Otherwise, I'm trying to get rid of this giant faux leather couch that's been an eyesore in our upstairs room we plan to use for our nursery. There are a number of takers out there so I hope one comes through. Then we're gonna buy some blue and yellow paints and make the walls nice and cheery. I realize we're kinda jumping the gun since I'm not pregnant yet, but we figured it was better to take care of this now rather than wait until the fumes might get to me and have fun focusing on the furniture and other decorations without chemicals
That's pretty much it for me! We're kind of taking it easy because we have a lot coming up towards the end of July.
I am looking forward to this weekend! Tomorrow we are attending the wedding of the college professor who's class my wife and I met in and her partner. They have been together for 25 years and have a 10 year old son. This professor and her family are very special to us, and the professor was actually our wedding officiant last year. The ceremony is going to be at their Quaker Meeting House (first same sex wedding to ever take place there) and then the reception is going to be in the historic castle on campus at the University that my wife and I went to (where our former professor still teaches). We are very excited to celebrate with them, and to see a bunch of our other former professors that will also be at the wedding. It should be a lot of fun!
On Sunday we are going to help my wife's brother and his wife get settled into their new apartment -- they are moving on Saturday, and we won't be able to help because we will be at the wedding. I told our sister-in-law I would help her get her new pantry organized. It will be nice to see them and get a look at their new place.
I am hoping we can squeeze in a little time for some relaxation on Sunday as well, but we shall see.
Today I am 8dpiui... I am hooping with our busy weekend it will keep my mind off the next couple for days of this tww....

Anyway we are supposed to continue with one more natural cycle because I have no issues with any initial tests. I even got a HSG and got the all clear.
My2moms did you do any natural cycles? If so how many before meds? Oh and who was your Dr?

We're about to head out to meet a friend and her new guy. We're going to a food truck that has the best vegan bacon cheeseburger in possibly the world. Yummm.
Tomorrow we're going to a watermelon festival that's about an hour away. I made these plans with my best friend a month or two ago. That was before I knew the high would be around 105.
This is my 9th summer here, so I should have anticipated it, but you never quite remember how bad it is until summer rolls around again. On the upside, I get to eat some yummy watermelon.
Plan on going to yoga on Sunday, then meeting having a doggie play date with another friend.
For those of you in the TWW, wishing you busy and distracting weekends! Hope everyone has a good one.
I just treated myself to a mani-pedi. Trying to do fun, nice things for myself instead of wallowing. Project Get-Yer-Sh!t-Together starts Monday, and my nails might as well look good.
Tomorrow we are having a bunch of friends over for a pre-4th of July BBQ. I'm not a big 4th of July person but I really wanted to make a flag cake.
Sunday we are going to pick up our NEW KITTY! I can't wait. We are going on a PetSmart shopping spree tomorrow to get ready for her (my wife threw out all our old cat's stuff). Still trying to settle on a name.
