I hadn't thought much about it until a lifelong friend named her daughter Brynn. Now it's just a beautiful name to me because of a little girl I love. I don't think you need to find a longer name (nor would you find one that isn't Brynlee) for it. It's fine on it's own.
I grew up with a girl named Brynn who was a year younger than me in school. She was classy and intelligent and I think that her name suited her. I say yay!
I think Bryn (spelled this way) is a lovely name in and of itself, no nickname needed.
I'm from Bryn Mawr, PA. I was born and raised there, much of my family still lives in and around there, and DH and I may move back one day. For all those reasons, I could never personally use it.

Love Brynn. Of course, I'm pretty biased (see siggy). I never thought it sounded like a NN but I really like short names. I absolutely hate Brynlee so I'm with you on that.
I love it! I knew little blonde curly headed twins growing up called Brooke and Brynn. I always thought Brooke got the short end of the stick because Brynn was so unique and pretty without being weird.

This. Plus I went to school with a Brynn which bizarre doesn't even begin to describe her. She probably ruined the name for me.
This. I just don't feel it. Don't hate it, but it's OK.
