Okay, it looks like there are quite a few new people here, so let's see if we can get this board active again. We had weekly GTKYs for awhile - we can see if there's enough participation to try those again. Let's start off easy:
Where do you live?
Where are you from?
When are you due -or- how old are your children?
Favorite thing about being pregnant
Least favorite thing about being pregnant
Something you're looking forward to this summer
Re: GTKY - 6/27
Where are you from? I'm a Colorado native - I grew up in Westminster. My husband is from Pittsburgh though.
When are you due -or- how old are your children? I'm due with my first on July 24th - it's a boy!
Favorite thing about being pregnant: I hate being pregnant. I'm not afraid to say it. If I had to pick a favorite thing, I guess I would say just having people be extra nice.
Least favorite thing about being pregnant: Currently, all the swelling. I'm also really tired of all the extra hormones - I hate the spontaneous crying.
Something you're looking forward to this summer: Other than the upcoming birth of my child (obvious choice), I guess I would have to go with a concert at Red Rocks next week that I won tickets to. I also have some good friends getting married at the end of August - I'm excited for them and to *maybe* drink a little wine
Where do you live? Frederick
Where are you from? Louisiana
When are you due -or- how old are your children? I'm ttc#1.
Favorite thing about being pregnant: I have yet to be pregnant so I'm not sure.
Least favorite thing about being pregnant: I would assume morning sickness.
Something you're looking forward to this summer: Hopefully getting KU. And seeing the in-laws.
Congratulations!
Where do you live? I'm in Littleton
Where are you from? Moved from Brooklyn in late April, so I'm new!
When are you due -or- how old are your children? I was due in Jan 2014, but the pregnancy didn't work out (D&C on 6/7). We are back on the saddle though.
Favorite thing about being pregnant: Being able to eat whenever I think I'm hungry and take naps because I'm tired
Least favorite thing about being pregnant: The effect it has on my running capabilities. I want to run and exercise throughout my pregnancy. Having to cut down on distance and intensity will just be part of the process.
Something you're looking forward to this summer: Hopefully getting pregnant again! Trip to Vegas in a few weeks. Visit to Brooklyn for my best friends babyshower. An August filled with a 20 day long mother-in-law visit (she's actually a gem), visit from my parents, and niece's first birthday!
Where are you from? Colo Springs
When are you due or how old are your children? I'm due 2/28/14, DD is 6 and DS is 2
Favorite thing about being pregnant? Feeling baby move
Least favorite thing about being pregnant? Getting fat, hormones, heartburn

Aches and pains, not working out hard, lack of sushi and wine
Something you're looking forward to this summer
Meeting our little guy and a wedding in Telluride 2 weeks later!
Where are you from? Florida, but we've been here 12 years.
When are you due or how old are your children? DD is almost 18mo.
Favorite thing about being pregnant: Having DH take care of me when I went on bed rest and feeling her kick.

Where do you live? Outside of Fort Collins
Where are you from? Wyoming (small town)
When are you due -or- how old are your children? FTM, due August 7th
Favorite thing about being pregnant: I enjoy a lot of things. I like to feel her kick, listening to her heartbeat at the doctor. I like my maternity clothes and getting to wear a lot of maxi dresses (and filling the top out).
Least favorite thing about being pregnant: Honestly, it's my body and trying to get comfortable. I'm not used to my chest touching my stomach and it's really uncomfortable. If I sit up straight or slightly recline my back hurts after a while. But if I slouch it isn't comfortable. It's like my pregnancy was a breeze, then BAM...34 weeks and I'm miserable.
Something you're looking forward to this summer: My sister is getting married 9 days after my due date (and a day before my birthday). It's in Estes Park, which will be a nice getaway (even with a newborn).
Thanks Eshugars for getting this started up again! I slacked off, my bad...

Favorite thing about being pregnant
Hmmmm, I would have to say it was that I didn't have to do dishes anymore because I couldn't reach the sink. I liked feeling S move, but half the time she was just kicking me and that never felt very good.
Least favorite thing about being pregnant
I could not sleep for the life of me. My hips hurt, I had to pee constantly and could never roll over without waking up.
Something you're looking forward to this summer
Getting S out of the house more often and getting back to enjoying this awesome state we live in.
Where do you live? Erie, CO
Where are you from? Portland, OR
When are you due -or- how old are your children? Due October 9th with our first LO
Favorite thing about being pregnant Feeling my little one moving inside
Least favorite thing about being pregnant Not having the energy I used to - not being able to keep up my workouts
Something you're looking forward to this summer Feels like summer is almost over! We just had my baby shower last weekend, and that was something I had been looking forward to - seeing my family and friends. Now I guess the next milestone will be our Maternity photo shoot. Then the baby will be here!
