You ladies were right, the bleeding did not effect my six week appointment. The appointment went well. I had my yearly pap and I have my fingers crossed that it comes back normal. If so, no pap for five years. However, the last time she told me this I got my hopes up only to have my results come back abnormal. The other highlight of the appointment was the birth control conversation. I guess in my mind it took three ivf attempts due to mfi to get pregnant that it seems unlikely to me that it would happen naturally, but I know it could. DH and I aren't sure if we are done having kids or if we want one more, but we do know that we aren't ready to ttc anytime soon. So my iud is on order. I did ask how long she recommends waiting since I had a csection and she said the recommendation is two years with a minimum of 18 months, but if it happened before then it would be okay, I would just be higher risk.

Apparently it is the new recommendation for over 30 and it off every three years if pap is normal if you are 21 or older. Here is the link to the CDC. Sorry if it is not clicky, I'm mobile.
