Hi I have a 5 month old son and I need some help! My period last month was 2weeks late. And is late this month. I have had a headache for almost a month. The same type of headache I had with my son. Every hpt was negative. I am honestly not sure what to do. I have been nauseated all month.Anyone else experienced this before?

Calm down, she wasn't being mean, she was just saying that if the tests are negative, then there aren't enough hormones to cause symptoms. And just b/c your period was "normal" the first month after giving birth doesn't mean it will forever be normal again. It may be "normal" some months and completely wonky the next, but if the tests are negative you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

This.  Relax!  If you are getting negative HPTs then you have nothing to worry about.  Between stress and pure biology it's very likely you're cycle is not back to "normal."

Your cycle is normal until it isn't. I thought I had normal cycles until I didn't have one for 5 months. Unless you are temping/charting, there is no way to know. I'm not sure what the protocol is for breast feeding mommas, I've heard your cycles can be pretty strange while bfing.  But a negative test means not pregnant. Test every week until you get AF

So then why are you asking if you could be pregnant when you have a negative pregnancy test? Clearly you don't know what it means.
