cervical length shortening

When does it become a concern... I went in today and was measuring 2.8cm at 24 weeks.  I originally started at 4.8 at 12 weeks.  When does this become a concern.  I only met with the ultrasound tech at my perinatologist at meet with my actual OB tomorrow...

    I had my 28 wk checkup/ultrasound yesterday. Mine measures at 3.8, but my Dr. Told me anything above a 2.5 is great. It's when you dip below that they begin to watch for preterm labor signs. He also said my cervix is "locked up tighter than Ft. Knox" so I should make 38 weeks! I hope the same is for you. I'll be interested to hear what your OB says. :0)

    My Perinatologist said above 2.5 is good.

    They like to see 3-5 but honestly 2.anything sounds good to me. Mine was 5cm in May. Now it's .5! Luckily that baby is still closed.
