I have a meeting tomorrow morning with the superintendent of schools to discuss the release of my contract for the 2013-2014 school year. I have an opportunity to switch to an amazing school district. The pay is over $5000 more per year, better hours, master tuition reimbursement, and great administrative support.
It is not uncommon for teachers to be released, but he doesn't legally have to. I would be okay if he doesn't, but a little bummed. So, I guess there really isn't a point but just hoping for some nice thoughts!
