I will not be having another baby. Dr said at least a year before conceiving after c section.. Which means 2 years before giving birth... That makes DH 43 and he is not having that...

I'm sad now that it is official...

Even though we've been fairly sure that O is our one and only, I still grieved the experience being over and thinking that I'll never be pregnant again and having another baby. I'm sorry, I imagine you're going through some tough emotions! The PP hormones don't make it any easier.

DH turned 44 a week before LO was born.  He thought he was too old as well and I thought I would never have a child.  But here I am with my 5 week old daughter happily in my lap nursing.  You never know.

Same. DH is 42 and we just had our first. Prob won't have another for 2 more years, if we do. I was a csection too. DH hasn't said a word about age. I

He didn't have a cutoff between 42 and 43... His cutoff is now with LO. His parents were our age when they had him and we lost them both this past year which was hard. For a variety of reasons, he doesn't want to have children and not be able to participate in things with them plus a million other reasons...

We had our 6 week appt yesterday. Think I may go with mirena as bc and buy myself the year to see if he changes his mind...
